How to issue a high school life record
1. Issuance of offline high school life record
① Visit the Ministry of Education
– You can get free issuance by visiting each city and province’s Office of Education, Education Support Office, elementary/middle/high school affiliated with the Ministry of Education and presenting your ID. It is also possible to issue a life record at a school other than the school you graduated from.
② Visit to administrative agencies
– You can obtain a high school life record by visiting the community center of each local government. However, it is important to note that there may be a small fee for issuing a visit to an administrative agency.
③ Unmanned civil petition issuance machine
– It can be issued through an unmanned civil application issuance machine, and fees may also occur.

You can easily check the location of the unmanned civil complaint issuance machine by searching for the area you live in through the ‘Guide to Unattended Civil Application Issuance’ in the Government 24 website → Customer Center → Service Support tab.
2. Issuance of Internet high school life record
There are two ways to obtain a life record issuance online, but only the representative method will be presented. Prior to that, in the case of Government 24, which can be issued online, only those who graduated after February 2017 (as of 2021) can apply, and in the case of the Nice Public Service, only those who graduated from 2003 or later (as of 2021) can apply.
For former graduates, refer to the above offline issuance method and obtain a high school life record.

How to issue the Nice Public Service website
① Go to the website of Nice Public Service (www.neis.go.kr) through the shortcut and enter ‘Home Edu Civil Service’.
② Click the school district of the high school you graduated from.
③ If you go to the homepage of the relevant Office of Education, click ‘Student’ and ‘School Life Record’ in the ‘Issue Online Civil Application’ tab.
④ You can verify your identity and log in through a joint certificate.

How to print and save high school transcripts
⑤ Select the high school you graduated from by searching the school name and click OK.
⑥ After about 3 seconds, the issuance of the high school life record is completed. Click Save here.
⑦ When you first get the issuance, the high school life record file is password-protected. In order to submit it to a company or university, you must first unlock the password and save it.
First, enter the password (your date of birth) to open the file and click ‘Save As’ to save the file anew.
